They rely on people who are placed in that hotel after a fire/flood or govt sponsored programs. This hotel simply does not want your business if your a regular traveler. Someone needs retraining (and probably a GED) at this place. All said she was incredibly rude and treated you like you were the problem. They are doing shady things with your credit cards here and if you have stayed here I urge you to check your statements! We had a crew of 10 at this hotel and nobody had anything good to say about Donelia. Upon trying to leave and take the receipt for the "misc charge" Donelia tried to take it back, probably a way to hide her mistake. When I asked for proof or documentation she could not provide me anything. They tried to charge me $25 for internet for 4 hours. After switching hotels due to distance to the job the assistant manager Donelia was the rudest human being I ever met. In my 8 years of traveling for work (and staying at 50+ extended stay america properities) this is hands down the WORST hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. There is another extended stay right down the road and plenty of other hotels you can. There are constantly random people hanging out in the parking lot and lobby who you don't know if they stay there or are just the managers friends. Lots of room for improvement. In my 8 years of traveling for work (and staying at 50+ extended stay america properities) this is hands down the WORST hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. I inquired about the breakfast and was told they were “under construction” and that was all they provided. The “included breakfast” consisted of a basket of bread and pop tarts next to a toaster. There were questionable stains on the carpet, bags of trash near the elevators, wallpaper stapled to the walls and everything looked like it had scuff marks or fingerprints. Our room was on the 3rd floor which smelled like an ashtray. The lobby was a sad sight with dirty couches, a sorry Christmas tree in the corner, a large trash bin on wheels next to the vending machine. We arrived at 8pm and I noticed trash in the parking lot, no smoking signs taped to the front doors, a long line to check in with only one person. I read the reviews prior to booking and it seemed to offer what I was looking for- clean, breakfast included, the location I needed at a reasonable price. The existing reviews are not an accurate representation of the poor state this hotel is currently in and lacking customer service. This is my first hotel review and I felt compelled to write something so others don’t make the same mistake. Recently got back from a 2 night stay with my two young kids.
